Usher’s Meeting – We will have an Usher’s Meeting on Saturday, March 9th from 10:00–11:00 am. This meeting is open to all existing Ushers and any Mt. Calvary men members who might be interested in becoming an Usher. We will go over procedures, calendar, teams and answer any questions you might have. Time to Order Easter Lilies!
We will continue with our tradition here at Mt. Calvary of placing beautiful Easter Lilies in the sanctuary in celebration of our risen Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. Anyone wishing to donate a Lily in memory of, in honor of, or in celebration of a loved one, please fill out the form provided in your News & Notes and return it to the church office or place it in the offering plate. The cost this year is $20. There are additional forms at the Mark Door information table. The deadline for ordering Easter Lilies is Sunday, February 25, 2024. MARCH MADNESS – “HYMN BRACKET”
The Congregation is invited to join together and vote for your favorite hymns to be sung the Sunday after Easter. Watch for a bracket sheet in the Fellowship Hall beginning Sunday, March 3rd. Everyone will vote each week and the final four will be sung on Sun., April 7th. The 1st place song will be the Hymn of the Day!
ROAD TO RESURRECTION—Mark your Calendar and join Mount Calvary Family Ministry for our 2nd annual “Road to Resurrection” on Sat., March 23rd. This Easter event is filled with Bible-time experiences that will engage participants of all ages! During this event, your family will travel in the steps of our Bible friends and see why it is we need Easter.
Register for a Passport at the Marketplace, travel all the way back to the beginning and talk with Adam and Eve, then transport in time to Jerusalem Gates for Palm Sunday, sit down for the Last Supper, discover the sacrifice of Good Friday, and celebrate freedom from sin at the empty tomb on the very first Easter morning!
The Road to Resurrection family experience and breakfast are absolutely FREE!! Be sure to invite your friends and bring the whole family to this exciting event and make a memory you all will never forget!
The event will run from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and this year, guests can sign up for a time slot. Sign up sheet with available times is located at the Welcome Center. Any questions, please contact Molly at 419-438-1870.
easter Morning Services & breakfast—Come join us Easter Morning, Sunday, March 31st, for worship and fellowship, as we celebrate our Lord and Savior’s Resurrection. We have two services, Sunrise Service at 6:30 am and the second service at 9:00 am. Easter Breakfast will take place between the two worship services, starting around 7:30 am. Our Mt. Calvary Youth will be helping serve again this year and donations may be made to help support their trip to the Youth Gathering in 2025. Preparation and clean-up help is needed on Easter Sunday. EASTER CHOIR—Attention all you singers out there! Please join us in celebrating and praising our Lord with song on Easter morning! Practice dates are: Sunday, March 10th, 17th, & 24th at 8:00 am. Any questions, please contact Heidi Helmeid at 608-436-8901.

Starting in February, we are looking for members to help sponsor a meal or meals for our Youth Group Meetings. Below is a list of items that would help greatly. If you would like to help and donate, please sign up at the Welcome Center.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY — Our Adult Bible Study, led by Pastor Bergelin, meets every Sunday morning at 10:30 am. All are welcome!
FAMILY BIBLE STUDY — Our Family Bible Study, led by DCE, Molly Bergelin, meets every Sunday morning at 10:30 am.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY — Our Women’s Bible Study, led by DCE, Molly Bergelin, meets every Wednesday Evening at 7:00 pm. Our last Wednesday class will be February 7th. We will then take one week off (for Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14), and start meeting on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm beginning Feb. 20th throughout the duration of Lent. Please join us for some fun, fellowship and enjoyable conversation.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY — Our Men’s Bible Study, led by Pastor Bergelin, meets every Thursday Evening at 7:00 pm. Come join us as we grow in fellowship and leadership as men of our congregation. This Bible Study is open to all men.
